RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES
19 AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Plainsmen Addition, made arrangements with
Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior
to the recording of the subdivision plat of Plainsmen Addition including the
following streets:
Peoria Avenue from its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South
Property Line of 54th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the
South Property Line of the alley South of 54th Street, known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 1049.
West 1/2 of Peoria Avenue from its intersection with a line 16 feet North of the
North Property Line of 58th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North
of the North Property Line of the alley North of 58th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1348.
55th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property
Line of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 300.0 feet West of the
West Property Line of Peoria Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1502.
56th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property
Line of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 301.0 feet West of the
West Property Line of Peoria Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1503.
57th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property
Line of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 303.92 feet West of the
West Property Line of Peoria Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1504.
West 1/2 of Peoria Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the
South Property Line of the alley North of 55th Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 57th Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1505-A.
East 1/2 of Peoria Avenue from its intersection with a line 148 feet South of the
South Property Line of 54th Street to its intersection with a line 16 feet North
of the North Property Line of 58th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1505-B.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City' s port16n of the cost and to release
escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer
Pavers, Inc. , paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Plainsmen Addition and find the improvements on Peoria
Avenue from 54th Street to 58th Street, 55th Street, 56th Street, and
57th Street from Peoria Avenue to approximately 300 feet West of Peoria
Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept
the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate
sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
