HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 4184 - Waterline Eastment From LIA To Water Utilities Department - 06_24_1993Resolution No. 4184 June 24, 1993 Item #25 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Airport Board for the City of Lubbock, Texas, has voted to recommend to the City Council of the City of Lubbock that certain Airport premises hereinafter described be utilized by the Water Utilities Department of the City for a water line easement; and WHEREAS, the City Council herein finds that usage of such Airport premises hereinafter described is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock and that there is no legal impediment which would prevent the Water Utilities Department from using the property as recommended; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Airport premises described in Exhibit A, attached to this Resolution and made a part hereof for all purposes, shall henceforth be utilized by the Water Utilities Department as a water line easement. SECTION 2. THAT if the runway(s) and/or any other Airport improvements at the Lubbock International Airport are ever constructed or extended in an eastward direct' , e Water Utilities Department will pay for the lowering and/or encas ment of - a water line described in Exhibit A.
