RESOLUTION
4�CoA� BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
(,S THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Paving Release
from the City of Lubbock to Mrs. Georgia W. Dingus, covering Lots 11 and 12,
Block 184, Original Town, City of Lubbock, Texas, attached herewith which
shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes
of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 13th day of May 1965.

PAVING RELEASE
THE STATE OF TEXAS f CITY OF LUBBOCK
TO
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK MRS. GEORGIA W. DINGUS, ET VIR
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock by Ordinance #4368, passed April 9,
1964, filed April 17, 1964, in Vol. 985, Page 191, Deed Records, Lubbock
County, Texas, assessed the following described property owned by Mrs.
Georgia W. Dingus, and created alien thereon for paving improvements to
be constructed by Pioneer Pavers, Inc. :
All of Lots 11 and 12, block 184, Original Town, City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the United States of America is acquiring title to such
property by eminent domain proceedings for a public purpose to build a
Post Office Building thereon; and,
WHEREAS, the United States of America will not accept transfer of
title by judgment of the property subject to any outstanding liens; and,
WHEREAS, it is contemplated the paving will not be completed till
after the United States of America has acquired the property and built the
Post Office Building; and,
WHEREAS, the United States of America has by agreement, entered
into on February 25, 1965, with the City of Lubbock assumed the obligation
to pay the sum of$908.07 for each of the above described lots when the paving
is completed by Pioneer Pavers, Inc.; NOW THEREFORE:
KNOW ALL LIEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the City of Lubbock acting by and through its duly authorized
representative for and in consideration of the foregoing premises does by
these presents, release the above described property and said owner from
the liens arising by virtue of said Ordinance #4368, and the original assess-
ment in the amount of$908.07 made therein on each of said lots, but in no
event shall this be construed as a cancellation of the agreement between City
of Lubbock and the United States of America, dated February 25, 1965.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, this instrument is officially signed with the
