RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on.bshhif of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
f to James Craven, Jr. and wife, Doris V. Craven covering the South half of East
21st Street from the East line of the North-South alley between Date ane Elm Ave-
nue to the West line of Elm Avenue attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 13th day of May , 1965.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK O
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of
Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration cf the sum of ONE AND
NO/InO ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by Jarnes Craven, Jr, and wife, Doris V. Craven, of the County of
Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do
by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM
unto the said James Craven, Jr, and wife, Doris V. Craven, of the City of
Lubbock, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described as follows,
to-wit:
The South half of East 21st Street from the East line of the North-
South alley between Date and Elm Avenue to the West line of Elm
Avenue.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said James Craven, Jr. and wife, Doris V. Craven, their heirs and assigns, nor
any person or persona claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim,
or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any
part thereof.
WITNESS MY HAND at Lubbock, Tense, this 13th day of May 1965.
