RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREET AND AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Cherry Point Addition, Lots 316-332 and
420-428, made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction
of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under
the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision
plat of Cherry Point Addition including the following streets:
North Ironwood Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet. North of the
North Property Line of East Cornell Street to its intersection with a line
3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of Cornell Drive,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1185.
East Cornell Drive from its intersection with a line 17 feet East of the West
'Property Line of Loop 289 to its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the
East Property Line of North Ironwood Avenue, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1186.
Loop 289 , the alley returns on. the West Access Road either side of East
Cornell Drive, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1188.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said *Mprovements have been' completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Cherry Point Addition and find the improvements on
North Ironwood Avenue, Loop 289 and East Cornell Drive as listed on
the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the
plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements
on said streets and avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the
amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due
them by the City of Lubbock.
