RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tech Village Addition Lot B, made
arrangements with Killgore Construction Company for the construction of paving
improvements on a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the
provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of
Tech Village Addition Lot B including the following street:
South 1/2 of 3rd Street (Curb and Gutter Only) from its intersection with a
line 8 feet West of the West Property Line of Flint Avenue to its intersection
with a line 350 feet West of the-West Property Line of Flint Avenue, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1354.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance
with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Killgore.
Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Tech Village Addition Lot B, and find the improvements on
S 1/2 of 3rd Street (Curb & gutter only) from 8' W. of WPL of Flint
Avenue to 350' W. of WPL of Flint, Unit Number N. S. 1354 as listed on the
final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans
and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said
streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount
shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the
City of Lubbock.
