E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
3� THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
irected to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS 0
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTSi
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK 0
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of
Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NOJIAO ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by J. E. McCain of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do;by these presents. BARGAIN,
SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said J. E. McCain
of the City of Lubbock, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract
or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described
as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point which bears East 2010.0 feet and North
60.0 feet from the Southwest corner of Section 16, Block A,
Lubbock County, Texas, said point being in the North right of
way line of Erskine Street and in the East right of way line
of North Avenue "V";
THENCE North a distance of 100.0 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 20.0 feet to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 100.0 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of SO.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belong-
ing unto the said J. E. McCain, his heirs and assigns, nor any person or
persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim or demand
any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
WITNESS my hand at Lubbock, Texas, this 25thday of February 1$66.
