HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 022565D - Quit Claim Deed - Kastman Development Co. - Sec 8, Block E-2 - 02_25_1965 I MYT-bw RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and •� directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to Kastman Development Company, its successors and assigns, on the tract or parcel of land described as being 66th Street between Joliet Avenue and 64th Drive, Lubbock County, Texas, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., Ci Attorney QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS f KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK 1 THAT the City of Laibbock, a Rome Rule Municipal Corporation of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorised officer, for and in consideration of the aura of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by KASTMAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY does hereby BARGAIN, BELL, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said KASTMAN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, its successors and assigns, all of the City of Lubbock's right, title and Interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land described as follows: BEGINNING at a point 822.4 feet West and 20.0 feet North of the Southeast corner of Section 8, Block E-2, Lubbock County. Texas; THENCE West parallel to and 20.0 feet North of the South line of said Section 8, Block E-2, a distance of 1164.67 feet to a point; THENCE South at 20.0 feet across the South line of said Section 6, Block E-2, the said being the North line of Section 11. Block L-2, in all a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; THENCE East parallel to and 20.0 feet South of the North line of said Section 11, Block E-2, a distance of 1164.67 feet toApoint; T11ENCE North a distance of 40.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
