Purtell - GWO 10400 Multiple Locations - 11_05_1964 RESOLUTION lC � !� RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW AND ,ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED. C WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improvement ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with L. A. Purtell (G.W.O. 10,400) for the making and construction of street improvements on portions of numerous streets and/or avenues in said City including among others the following: 9th Place from its intersection with a line 9 feet West of the East Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 10 feet East of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 2096. 17th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the West Property Line of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 105.4 feet West of the West Property Line of Raleigh Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2099. 18th Street from its intersection with a line 26 feet West of the West Property Line of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 13 feet East of the East Property Line of Raleigh Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 10 of Unit Number 2099. 21st Street from its intersection with a line 3 feet West of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue to its intersection with a line 11 feet East of the East .-. Property Line of Chicago Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 14 of Unit Number 2099. Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 8 feet South of the South Property Line of 3rd Street to its intersection with a line 50 feet South of the North Property Line of 4th Street (East Side) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 2105. Indiana_ Avenue from its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of 2nd Street to its intersection with a line 8 feet South of the South Property Line of 3rd Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 2 of Unit Number 2105. Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of ist Street to its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of 2nd Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 3 of Unit Number 2105. F' Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of 1st Street to its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of Auburn Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 4 of Unit Number 2105. Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 5 feet South of the South Property Line of Auburn Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of Baylor Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 5 of Unit Number 2105. r Indiana Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of Baylor Street to its intersection with a line 4.66 feet North of the North Property Line of Cornell Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2105. Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 4.66 feet North of the North Property Line of Cornell Street to its intersection with a line 8 feet North of the North Property Line of Duke Street, known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 7 of Unit Number 2105. IndianaAvenue from its intersection with a line 8 feet North of the North Property Line of Duke Street to its intersection with a line 30 feet North of the South Property Line of Erskine Road (East Side), known and designated as Sub-Unit Number S of Unit Number 2105. AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above- mentioned streets and/or avenues, have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract G.W.O. 10400. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted, the contractor having completed his maintenance agreement including seal coat as previously specified, and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct r. payment of money with-held from the cityss portion of cost for the one year agreement.
