RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Release of a Vendors
Lien attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council
and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of
this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 30th day of July 1964.

THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March, 1964, the City of Lubbock did
execute and deliver to the Southeast Lubbock Development Corporation a certain
deed of conveyance, wherein the party of the first named did convey to the party
last named, the following described tract of land, to-wit:
Lot 1, Block 38 j Lots 1 and 2, Block $9, Lots 1, 2 and 3.
Block 40; Lot 1, Block 42; Lot 1, Block 43; Lots 1 and 2,
Block 44 all of which Lots and Blocks are in Coronado
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
as shown in the Plat recorded in Volume 991, Pages
311 through 318 inclusive, Deed Records, Lubbock
County, Texas.
And whereas, as consideration of said land, the said Southeast Lubbock
Development Corporation did execute and deliver to said City of Lubbock a certain
promissory note for $86,$28.00, bearing even date with said deed, and payable
to City of Lubbock, or order, due on demand, fully described in said deed, re-
corded in Volume 981, Page 198, Record of Deeds of Lubbock County, Texas,
hereto referred to for further description, and a vendor's lien was expressly
retained in such deed to secure the payment of said promissory note.
And, whereas, said promissory note has been fully paid off and dis-
charged, and at the time of its payment said note was the property of the under-
signed, NOW THEREFORE:
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the City of Lubbock of the County of Lubbock, and State of Texas
acting by and through its duly authorized official, for and in consideration of the
premises and the full and final payment of said note, has remised, released,
quit claimed, discharged and acquitted, and by these presents does remise,
release, quit claim, discharge and acquit unto the said Southeast Lubbock
Development Corporation, its successors and assigns, the vendor's lien here-
tofore existing upon the land and premises aforesaid.
