RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
�b directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to th
3� Lubbock Commercial Buildings, Inc. attached herewith which shall be spread upon e
minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall con-
stitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 16th day of July , 1964,

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS E
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK I
THAT the City,of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of
Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand raid by the Lubbock Commercial Buildings, Inc., of the County of Lubboo k,
and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do, by these presents,
BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said Lubbock
Commercial Buildings. Inc.. of the City of Lubbock, all its right title and interest
in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State
of Texas, described as follows, to-wits
A parcel of land out of Section S. Block E, Lubbock County, Texas,
more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West line of Avenue P, said point being
116 1.0 feet North and 30.0 feet West of the Southeast corner of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section 3, Block E;
THENCE North along the West line of Avenue P a distance of 221.40
feet to a point of intersection of the West line of Avenue P and the
Southwest right of way line of Avenue Q;
;:THENCE South 410 220 East along the Southeast right of way line of
('Avenue Q a distance of 45.39 feet to a point in the East line of said
;Section 3, Block E;
(THENCE South along the East line of said Section 3, Block E a'dia-
�.ffe of 132.0 feet more or less to a point in the new alignment of
,;Avenue P;
THENCE Southeasterly and South on a curve to the left having a radius
�f 140.6 feet a distance of 61.69 feet to a point;
THENCE West 3.92 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said Lubbock Commercial Buildings, Inc., their successors and assigns, nor any
person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have,. claim or
demand �ny right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part
thereof.
