RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR .
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
` l!3 WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park Addition, Lots 154-198,
made arrangements with T. J. Hodges for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie Park
Addition including the following streets:
Louisville Drive from its intersection with a line 1.06 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 61st Street to its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 62nd Drive, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1360.
Louisville Drive from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 62nd Drive to its intersection with the South line of Lot 177
Melonie Park, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1361.
62nd Drive from its intersection with a line 3 feet West of the West Property
Line of the alley West of Kenosha Drive to its intersection with a line 3
feet West of the West Property Line of the alley West of Louisville Drive,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1362.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, an
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance
with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City'=s portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by T. J.
Hodges, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of
Melonie Park Addition Lots 154-198, and find the improvements on
Louisville Drive from Memphis Avenue to approximately 100 feet north of
66th street and on 62nd Drive from the alley west of Kenosha Drive to
the alley west of Louisville Drive as listed on the final estimate sheet
to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached
consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
