'7 0' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and tt �� directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to cv Maddox Investment Company attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall con- stitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., CA y Attorney QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS # KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK I THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of Lubbock and state of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS, to it in hand paid by Maddox Investment Company, a Corporation of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does, by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE, AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said Maddox Invest- ment Company, its successors and assigns, all its right, title and interest in and to those certain tracts or parcels of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described as follows, to-wit: PARCEL I. A parcel of land out of Section 20, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas, more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 14, Block $6, Maddox Addition, an addition to the City of Lubbock; THENCE North 50 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 20, Block $5, said Maddox Addition; THENCE East along the South side of Block 35 a distance of 350 feet to a point, said point being the Southeast corner of Lot 11, Block $5; THENCE South 50 feet to a point, said point being the North- east corner of Block 36, said Maddox Addition; THENCE West a distance of 360 feet along the North side of said Block 36 to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
