HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 063064Q - Quit Claim - Bender Properties Inc - Brownfield Highway - 06_30_1964 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the utility easement held by the City of Lubbock lying between the West right of way line of Vicksburg Avenue and the Southeast right of way line of the Brownfield Highway is no longer needed or required for a public use or utility easement: NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to Bender Properties, Inc., Lubbock County, Texas, covering the following described property located in Lubbock County, Texas, to-wit: That portion of an electric transmission and distribution line easement granted to the City of Lubbock by Bender Properties, Inc., and recorded in Volume 615, Page 582, Lubbock County Deed Records which lies between the West right of way line of Vicksburg Avenue and the Southeast right of way line of the Brownfield Highway (U.S. Highway 62). SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to said Deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
