RESOLUTION ACCEPTING ]MPROVENENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
1p AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Rushland Park Addition Installment No.
10, made arrangements with pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of
paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under
the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision
plat of Rushland Park Addition Installment No. 10 including the following
streets:
A part of loth Street from its intersection with a line 16.0 feet West of the
West Property Line of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with a line 18.0 feet
East of the East .Property Line of Salem Avenue (North Leg) known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1375.
A part of Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the
North Property Line of the alley South of loth Street to its intersection
with a line 3.0 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of
loth Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1376.
Salisbury Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.0 feet North of the
North Property Line of loth Street to its intersection with a line 3.0 feet
North of the North Property Line of the alley North of loth Street known
and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1377.
loth Street from its intersection with a line 15.0 feet West of the West
Property Line of Salem Avenue (South Leg) to its intersection with the West
end of the cul-de-sac West of Salisbury Avenue known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 1378.
A part of the East one-half of Toledo Avenue from its intersection with a
line 8.0 feet North of the North Property Line of loth Street (West Leg) to
its intersection with a line 3.0 feet North of the North Property Line of the
alley North of loth Street (East Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1379.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected
and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications
and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he
is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost
and to release escrow money.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer Pavers,
Inc., paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Rushland
Park Addition Inst. No. 10 and find the improvements on a part of' 10th Street
from 16t W. of the W.P.L. of Quaker Avenue to 18t E. of the E.P.L. of Salem Avenue,
A part of Salem Avenue from 3t N. of the N.P.L. of the alley S. of loth Street to
31 N. of the N.P.L. of the alley N. of 10th Street, Salisbury Avenue from 15'
N. of the N.P.L. of loth Street to 3t N. of the N.P.L. of the alley -N. of loth Street,
loth Street from 151 W. of the W.P.L. of Salem Avenue to the cul-de-sac West of
Salem Avenue, A part of the East one-half of Toledo Avenue from 8' N. of the N.P.L.
of loth Street (West Leg) to 3t N. of the N.P.L. of the alley N. of loth St.
(East Leg) concrete only, as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed ,in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to
the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate
sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
