HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 063064A - Paving Improvements - Kerr Paving Co. - Lots 453-489, SD Of Richland Hills Add - 06_30_1964 i C(050WA �i RE SOLUT ION -- '� RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR ?j AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Richland Hills Addition Lots 453-489, made Arrangements with Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improve- ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Richland Hills Addition Lots 453-489 including the following streets: 45th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the East Line of Lot 471 Richland Hills Addition, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1395. Belmont Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.77 feet South of the South Property Line of 45th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of - the North Property Line of the alley South of 45th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1396, AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK9 TEXAS. I, That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityas portion of the cost and to release escrow money. TEXAS 79408 June 30, 1964 Honorable Mayor and City Council Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Richland Hills Addition Lots 45S-489 and find the improvements on 45th Street from 16 feet East of the E.P.L. of Chicago Avenue to the East Line of Lot 471 Richland Hills Addition, Belmont Avenue from 16.77 feet S, of the SPL of 45th Street to 3 feet North of the NPL of the alley South of 45th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
