G/ RESOLUTIOK ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS CST PORTIONS OF STREET AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELCWt
, WHEREAS, in conformance with the pavingrequirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melanie Park Addition, Lots 199-243,
.^' made arrangements with T. J. Hodges for the construction of paving Improve-
. _,' iments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions
of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie
Park Addition including the following streetst
Memphis Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South
property line of the alley South of 61st .Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet South of. the South property 'line of the alley South of Lynn-
haven Drive known and designated as.New Subdivision Unit Number 1371.
Lynnhaven Drive from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East
property line of Memphis Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet
North of the North property line of 62nd Drive known and designated as Nev
Subdivision Unit Number 1372.
Lynnhaven Drive from its intersection with ,a line 15 feet South of the South
property line :of.62nd Drive to its intersection with the South line of Lot
223, Melanie Park Addition known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1373.
62nd Drive from its intersection with a line 3 feet West of the West property
line of the alley West of Louisvill Drive to its intersection with a line
3 feet West of the West property line of the alley West of Lynahaven Drive
known and designated as New.Subdivision Unit Number 1374,
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected
and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications
and in accordance with .the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK9 TErAS•

That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he
is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4th DAY OF June, 1964.

NOTE TO THE AUDITOR:
Payment is now due T. J. Hodges for paving improvements
constructed in Memphis Avenue in connection with the construction
of paving improvements adjacent to lots 199-243, Melonie Park
Addition. The amount due is $279.85 as shown on the attached con-
solidated final estimate sheet. The improvements were constructed
in accordance with plans and specifications and were accepted by the
City Com ission on June 4, 1964. The $279.85 is to be paid from G.W.O.
2862.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
T. J. Hodges, paving contractor, under his contract with the sub-
dividers of Melonie Park Addition and find the improvements on
Memphis Avenue from the alley South of 61st Street to the alley
South of Lynnhaven Drive, Lynnhaven Drive from Memphis Avenue to
580t South of 62nd Drive and 62nd Drive from the alley West of
Louisvill Drive to the alley West of Lynnhaven Drive, as listed
on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications and rec end that you accept
the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing pay-
ment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
