RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DIPROVDIENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREET AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOWt
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park Addition, Lots 244-270,
made arrangements with T. J. Hodges for the construction of paving 'improve-
ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions
of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie
Park Addition including the following streets:
64th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West
property line of Indiana Avenue to its intersection with the West property
line of Lot 253, Melonie Park Addition known and designated as New Subdivi-
sion Unit Number 1381.
Kenosha Drive from its intersection with the West line of Lot '2480 Melonie
Park addition to its intersection with a line 16.12 feet West of the West
property line of Joliet Avenue (N. leg) known and designated as New Sub-
division Unit Number 1382.
Joliet Avenue from its intersection with"a line 13.22 feet South of the
South property line of 64th Street W its intersection with the South line
of Lot 270, Melonie Park Addition known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1383.
Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South
property line of the alley North of 64th Street Co: its intersection with
a line 3 feet South of the South property:l.ine of the alley South of 64th
Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1384.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected,
and found to have been constructed_ in. accordance with City specifications and
in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEKAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he
is hereby authorised to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 4th DAY OF June, 1964.

Payment is now due T. J. Hodges for paving improvements constructed
In Indiana Avenue in connection with construction of paving improvements ad-
jacent to lots 244 to 270, Melonie Park Addition. The amount due is $1268.67
as shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet. The improvements
were constructed in accordance with plans and specifications and were accepted
by the City'Council on June 4, 1964. The $1268.67 is to be paid from
G.W.O. 2862.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by T. J. Hodges#
paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Melonie Park
Addition and find the improvements on the Westk of Indiana Avenue from the
alley North of 64th to the alley South of 64th, Joliet Avenue from 64th Street
to 1001 North of 66th Street; Kenosha Drive from Joliet .Avenue to 150t Nest
of Joliet Avenue and on 64th Street from Indiana Avenue to 150t West of Joliet
Avenue, as,listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the im-
provements on said streets and/or avenues, authorising payment to the contractor
the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him
by the City of Lubbock.
