} RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELT:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracy Heights, made arrangements with
Thomason Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Tracy Heights
including the following streets:
Elkhart Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 17th Place to its intersection with a line
39 feet South of the North Property Line of 19th Street, known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 1076.
Elkhart Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North
Property Line of the alley North of 17th Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 16th Place,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1365.
16th Place from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property
Line of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection with a line 16 feet West of the
West Property Line of Chicago Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1366.
Dover Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North
Property Line of 16th Place to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of
the North Property Line of the alley North of 16th Place, known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 1367.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityis portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Thomason Construction Company, Inc., paving contractor, under their
contract with the subdividers of Tracy Heights and find the improvements
on 16th Place, Dover Avenue and Elkhart Avenue as listed on the final
estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and
specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said
streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount
shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by
the City of Lubbock.
