Teague - Lot 52, Arnett & Benson Addition - 05_14_1964 LDR:j�ks_ RESOLUTION 3 _ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: I j THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to F. S. Teague attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Mayor ATTEST: _ Lam Approvx l'2 Lavenia Lowe; Ci y,Secretary-Treasurer 2UIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS 4 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK 4 THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100(61.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by F. S. Teague of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do, by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said F. S. Teague of the City of Lubbock, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described as follows, to-wit: A tract of land out of Arnett and Benson Addition to the City of Lubbock. Texas, more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the NW corner of Lot 52 of said Arnett and Benson Addition; THENCE East 10 feet to a point; THENCE Southwesterly a distance of 14. 14 feet to a point, THENCE North 10 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belong- ing unto the said F. S. Teague, his heirs and assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof. WITNESS my hand at Lubbock, Texas this 14th day of May 1964.
