--� E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
_v irected to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Warranty Deed to
. W. Wright conveying the land described in the attached conveyance which shill
h e spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this jl
ouncil shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in
etail.
Passed by the City Council this 14th day of <-'14ayJ , 1964.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK I
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of the County
of Lubbock. State of Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, heretofore duly

authorized for and in consideration of the sum of SIX HUNDRED FORTY FIVE AND #i0/100
DOLLARS ($645.0) cash to it in hand paid by J. W. Wright, of Lubbock Countyi''Texas,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the further sum of ONE THOUSAND
NINE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE AND NO1100 DOLLARS ($1.935.00) secured to be paid ani '
evidenced by granteele Promissory Vendor's Lien Note, which note is further described
as follows:
An Installment Vendor's Lien'Note in the amount of $1,935.00, dated July
7. 1963, payable to the City of Lubbock, Texas, in three (3) annual in-
stallments of $645,00 each, together with interest of six (6) per cent
per annuml with the first payment being due on July 7. 1964. and an equal
amount being payable on July 7, of each year thereafter until the prin-
cipal and interest is paid in fully said Vendor's Lien Note being fur-
ther secured by a Deed of Trust given to Don Reed. Trustee, for the
benefit of the City of Lubbock.
Have granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, sell and
convey unto the said grantee. J. W. Wright, of Lubbock County, Texas, all that
cexain parcel of land:
All of Lot 2. Block 4, Suburban Homes Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County. Texas, as per plat and dedication recorded in Vol. 1000,
Page 163, et seq.. of the Heed Records of Lubbock County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described property and premises, together ,with
all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging. unto
the said grantee, his heirs and assigns foreverl and I do hereby bind the City of
Lubbock and its successors to warrant and forever defend all and singular said
premises unto the said grantee. his heirs and assigns. against every person whom-
soetrer lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
But it is expressly stipulated and agreed that a Vendor's Lien and the superior
title are retained against the above described property and premises until said
note is fully and finally paid according to its face and tenor, effect and reading,
when this deed shall become absolute.
