HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 101063F - Pavement Improvements - Ballenger Construction Co - East 1_2 Of College Avenue - 10_10_1963 RESOLUTION/// 10 loci F" BELOW: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED few WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City• Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Horseshoe Terrace made arrangements with Ballenger Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Horseshoe Terrace including the following street: The E1/2 of College ,Avenue from its intersection with a line 32 feet North of the North Property Line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 622.5 feet North of the North Property Line of 66th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1339. , AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK# TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. Senter, Jr., y ttorney City of Lubbock lull POrter 3-3491 916 Texas Avenue Lubbock, Texas October 10, 1963 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen; I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Ballenger Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Horseshoe Terrace and find the improvements on College Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said street, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock. ours very truly, John T.
