RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, one M. E. Carver executed a Vendorts Lien promissory note
payable to the City of Lubbock on April 8, 1958, in consideration for a tract of
land sold to the said M. E. Carver by the City of Lubbock; said promissory note
Aij being further secured by a deed of trust executed in favor of the City of Lubbock,

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that M. E.
Carver has paid the promissory note in full according to the terms thereo4
NOW BE IT RESOLVED BY:THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be hereby authorized t
execute a release of the said Vendorts Lien and deed of trust lien.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest to the Mayorts signature
unto said Release and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto,
Passed by the City Commission this 26thday of September , 1963.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK #
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation of Lubbock
County, Texas, the legal owner and holder of that certain vendor's lien promissory
note in the principal sum of $1,400.00. described in and secured by lien retained
in deed from the City of Lubbock to M. Eil Carver dated April 8, 1958, and addition-
ally secured by deed of trust of M. E. Carver to Fred O. Senter, Jr., Trustee,
dated April 8, 1958, recorded in Volume 274, Page 190. Deed of Trust Records,
Lubbock County, Texas, do hereby acknowledge payment in full of said note and
release unto the maker of said note the property described in the above mentioned
deed and deed of trust free from all liens retained, granted, renewed or extended
in the above mentioned deed and deed of trust to secure the payment of said note.
