RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:

WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park Addition, made arrange-
r, ' Q'' ments with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improve-
ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions
jr of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie
Park including the following streets:
Kenosha Drive from its intersection with a line 1.32 feet South of the alley
South of 61st St. (East Leg) to its intersection with the Southeast line of
Lot 136, Melonie Park Addition known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1292.
62nd Drive from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property
Line of Kenosha Drive to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the Wes
Property Line of Knoxville Drive, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1293.
62nd Drive from its intersection with a line 3 feet West of the alley West of
Kenosha Drive to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West Proper-
ty Line of Kenosha Drive, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1294.
Knoxville Drive from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 63rd Street (East Leg) to its intersection with the south
line of Lot 107 Melonie Park Addition, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1295.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and
found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in cco
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
itAspassage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
subdividers of Melonie Park and find the improvements on Kenosha Drive,
62nd Drive and Knoxville Drive as listed on the final estimate sheet
to have been completed in .accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached
consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
