HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1690 - Accept Paving Improvements- Kerr Co- Lots 413-496 & Tracts B-E, King's Gate Add - 05_24_1984RESOLUTION 1690 - 5/24/84 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of King's Gate Addition, Lots 413 thru 496 and Tracts "B" thru "E" made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of the above mentioned addition including the following streets: 84th Street from its intersection with the west lip line of Memphis Avenue to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet west of west property line of Nashville Avenue known and designated as New Sub- divigion Sub -Unit Number 30 of Unit Number 2030. 85th Place from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of west property line of Lot 486 to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet west of east property line of Lot 496 known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 31 of Unit Number 2030. 86th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of west property line of Lot 485 to its intersection with the west lip line of Miami Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub - Unit Number 32 of Unit Number 2030. 87th Street construction of alley return on north side of 87th Street between Memphis Avenue and Miami Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 33 of Unit Number 2030. West 1/2 of Memphis Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 82nd Street to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet north of north property line of 87th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 34 of Unit Number 2030. Miami Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet north of north property line of 87th Street to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet west of west property line of Miami Avenue on 85th Place known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 35 of Unit Number 2030. Nashville Avenue from its intersection with the south lip line of 82nd Street to its intersection with the north lip line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 36 of Unit Number 2030. Norfolk Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of west property line of Lot 486 on 85th Place to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of west property line of Lot 485 on 86th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 37 of Unit Number 2030. RESOLUTION AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost in the amount of $4,971.08. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
