W, Wright conveying the land described in the attached conveyance which shall U be spread upon the minutes of the Commission and as spread upon the minutes of this Commission shall constitute and be a part of this resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. \ l� Passed by the City Commission this 27th day of June , 1963. r - I•i JA K F. COUNTY OF LUBBOCK THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its Mayor, heretofore duly authorised for and in consideration of the sum of SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY SEVEN AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($667.50) cash to it in hand paid by J. W. Wright, of Lubbock County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and the further sum of TWO THOUSAND SIXTY TWO AND 50/100 DOLLARS ($?062.60) secured to be paid and evidenced by grantee's Promissory Vendor's Lien Note, of even date herewith, which note is further described as follows: An Installment Vendor's Lien Note in the amount of $2,062.50, dated July�, 1863, payable to the City of Lubbock, Texas in three (3) annual Installments of $687.50 each, together with interest of six(6) per cent per annum; with the first payment being due on July . 1864, and an equal amount being payable on July , of each year thereafter until the principal and interest is paid in full; said Vendor's Lien Note being further secured by a Deed of Trust given to Bill J. McGinnis, Trustee, for the benefit of the City of Lubbock. Have granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, sell and convey unto the said grantee, J. W. Wright, of Lubbock County, Texas, all that certain parcel of land; All of Lot 1, Block 5, Suburban Homes Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described property and premises, to- gether with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the said grantee, his heirs and assigns forever; and I do hereby bind the City of Lubbock and its successors to warrant and forever defend all and singular said premises unto the said grantee, his heirs and assljCns. against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof. But it is expressly stipulated and agreed that a Vendor's Lien and the superior title are retained against the above described property and premises i until said note is fully and finally paid according to its face and tenor, effect and reading, when this deed shall become absolute.
