HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 052363F - Pavement Improvements - Hodges And Tierney - West Gate Drive Addition - 05_23_1963 � RESOLUTION 0fZ963F* C(ri �- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELM: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of West Gate-Drive Addition Inst. #8, made arrangements with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of West Gate Drive Addition Inst. #8 including the following streets: llth Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Lot 11, Block 17, West Gate Drive Addition Installment No. 8 to its intersection with the cul-de-sac East of Raleigh Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1255, Raleigh Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of llth Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of llth Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1256. West 1/2 of quaker Avenue (concrete only) from its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of llth Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the 'North Property Line of the alley South`of llth Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1257, .AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 133le THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the cityts portion of the cost and to release escrow money. Iie This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
