RESOLUTION /� i' li A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM li DEED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO A STRIP OF LAND OUT OF BLOCK 5, SOUTH SIDE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBO P' COUNTY, TEXAS. 0yj ff� WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that the following described portion if �2; of land out of Block 5, South Side Addition to the City of Lubbock has been vacated and abandoned .by Ordinance No. 1227 and is no longer needed by the City of pp �� Lubbock; NOW THEREFORE: l lF� BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: �f SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to Don Arch King and Kay Lyn King, covering the following described property, to-wit: A portion of land out of Block 5, South Side Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, more particularity described as follows: !I BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 10 in accordance with plat and E' dedication of the South Side Addition; i r-. THENCE North 40 feet to a point; THENCE West 30 feet to a point; THENCE South 40 feet to a point; THENCE East 30 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to said deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
