HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1512 - Contract - West Texas Mechanical - Ammoniation Facilities, Water Treatment Plant - 10_27_1983di G� �� 19 0 JWF:cl RESOLUTION 7P a RESOLUTION 1512 - 10/27/d3 WHEREAS, bids were received on October 16, 19839 as regards construc- tion of ammoniation facilities at the City of Lubbock Water Treatment Plant, and the consulting engineers for the City of Lubbock have recom- mended to the City Council that the Contract be awarded to West Texas Mechanical, Incorporated, as Contractor and the City Council concurs in such recommendation; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Contract referred to in the preamble hereof is hereby formally awarded to West Texas Mechanical, Incorporated, as Con- tractor, and said Contractor is confirmed as the lowest and best bidder bidding on said Contract. SECTION 2. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of said City a Contract to be entered into by and between said City and West Texas Mechanical, Incorpo- rated, for construction of improvements as set forth in the preamble hereof, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of this City Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall con- stitute and be a part of this resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
