A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
DEED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO A PORTION OF
THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY BETWEEN LOTS 182 AND 183,, LEFTWICH MON-
TEREY HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. LUBBOCK COUNTY,,

WHER,B!4S. by Ordinance No. 4013 the City of Lubbock has heretofore closed
and abandoned the North-South alley between Lots 182 and 183, Leftwich Monterey
Heights Addition to the City of Lubbock, as more particularly described in said
Ordinance, to which reference is here made; and,
WHEREAS,, the, City Commission finds that the following described portion of
said North-South alley heretofore closed and abandoned by Ordinance 4013 is no
longer needed for public use as a public alley; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the M43or of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a quit claim deed to
C. D. Shamburger Lumber Company covering the following described property,to-,vdt;
A parcel of land out of Section 7, Block E2, Lubbock County,
Texas, to the City of Lubbock, more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 183, Leftwich Monterey
Heights Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE West 10 feet to a point, said point being in the center of
the North-South alley between Lots 182 and 183 of the said Left- M
wich Monterey Heights Addition; "
THENCE North along the center line of said alley a distance of I.
