HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 110862L - Paving Improvements - Kerr Paving Co. - Subdivider Of Ranchland Terrace Addition - 11_08_1962 6 RESOLUTION lagl?w L RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREET AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOWs WHEREASp in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Ranchland Terrace made arrangements with Kerr paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Ranchland Terrace including the following streetss 41st Street from its intersection with a line 20 feet west of the East Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet west of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as -New Subdivision Unit Number 1182. West half of Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 3"feet south of the South Property Line of the alley south of 41st Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the 'North Property Line of the Alley North of 41st Street known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1183. Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line the 3 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 41st Street to its intersection with a line feet south of the South Property Line of the Alley South of 41st Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1184. est Half of Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 27 feet North of the South property Line of 42nd Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet outh of the South Property Line of alley south of 41st Street known and designated as a .part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1222. AND WHEREAS# the construction of the above improvements on the above- entioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK$ TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets e and the same are hereby accepted, providing the contractor provides main- tenance of these improvements for a period of one year and the City Engineer be nd he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the lost and to release escrow money. Senter, Jr., C ttorney CITY OF LUBBOCK 1K TEXAS November 8, 1962 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr Paving,Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Ranchland Terrace Addition and find the improve- ments on 41st Street, Bangor Avenue and Chicago Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock, Yours very�truly, (29 6' John T.
