RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 111PROVEt1ENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
ity Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Briercroft Addition, made arrangements
with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said ordinance
rior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Briercroft Addition including

venue S from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet south of the south proper
line of 56th Street to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet south of the south
roperty line of the alley south of 56th Street, known and designated as New
ubdivision Unit Number 1013.
7th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of the east prop-
rty line of avenue S to its intersection with a line 14.00 feet east of the
west property line of Avenue P, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Qumber 1152.
venue S from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet south of south property
ine of the alley south of 56th Street to its intersection with a line 11.00
feet south of the north property line of 58th Street, known and designated as
'New Subdivision Unit Number 1153.
-Ivenue P (west side) the alley stub north of 55th Street and the alley stub
outh of 57th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1154.
Sth Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet east of the east property
Line of Avenue S to its intersection with aline 14.00 feet east of the west
roperty line of Avenue P, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number

AND WHER&XS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
entioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
aid improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
een constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accordance with
he provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEAS*
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
e and the same are hereby accepted, providing the contractor provides mainten-
nce on these improvements for a period of one year and the City Engineer be and
e is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the cityfs portion of the cost
nd to release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
assage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Hodges
and Tierney, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers
of Briercroft Addition and find the improvements on 55th Street, 57th Street,
Avenue S and Avenue P as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that
you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
