HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 1410 - Authorize Official Ballot - TML Trust Fund - Alan Henry, Region 3 BOT - 06_09_1983DGV:cl RESOLUTION RESOLUTION 1410 - 6/9/83 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock deems it to be in the best interest of the City of Lubbock to cast a vote on behalf of the City of Lubbock for the candidate for the Region 3 member of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Municipal League Insurance Trust Fund favored by the City Council of the City of Lubbock, NOW THEREFORE: . The name of Alan Henry, Mayor Pro Tem, Lubbock, Texas, has been placed in nomi- nation to represent your TML region on the 15-member Board of Trustees that administers the $25-million TML health, life and dental program. The names of the city officials currently serving on the Board of Trustees is attached for your information. Alan Henry has been a member of the Lubbock City Council since 1974 and has been serving as Mayor Pro Tem. since 1978. He is .a partner in The Insurance Group, A General Agency, which gives him a working knowledge of the insurance industry. Mr. Henry is currently on the TML Board of Directors and has served recently as its president. The background statement above is presented as information only; Fund members are free to write in a vote for a person other than the one nominated. Ballot must reach the TML office no later than June 25, 1983.
