II A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED FOR
AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO AN UNDERGROUND i
ELECTRIC LINE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that a certain underground electric
line easement located on Lot 115 of McKenzie Mamas Addition to the City of
ILubbock, Lubbock County, Texas is no longer needed for public use.
NOW,THEREFORE:
I
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim
Deed to Dickey and Frazier, a Texas partnership, covering the following
described property, to-wit:
I
A tract of land 2 feet wide on the East side of Lot 115 McKenzie
Manors Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the
Mayor to said deed and shall affix the Seal of the City of Lubbock thereto. I

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
GpCOUNTY OF LUBBOCK j
s, THAT Dickey and Frazier, a Texas partnership acting by and through its
�p partners, being the owner of the hereinafter described property, for and in
consideration of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLAR and other good and
valuable consideration to it in hand paid by the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule
Municipality located in Lubbock County, Texas, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged and confessed by Grantor, does hereby GRANT, SELL and
CONVEY and by these presents has GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED unto
said City of Lubbock, its successors and assigns, a permanent and perpetual
underground easement for the purpose of laying, constructing, reconstructing
and maintaining an electrical power transmission line, with the rights of
ingress, egress and regress at any and all times, irk on, under, along and
across the following described tract of land located in the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, to-wit:
BEGINNING at a point 14 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Lot
116, McKenzie Mama Addition, to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;

THENCE South parallel to and 16 feet East of the West line of said Lot
116, a distance of 115 feet to a point in the South line of said Lot 116;
