HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 102562D - Paving Improvements- Hodges & Tierney - Subdivider Of 3 Additions - 10_25_1962 i RESOLUTI8N 107'sm RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMMOiVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHERE&S, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Wilshire Park, Mackenzie Terrace and Cherry Point, made arrangements with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivisions under the provisions of said ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Wilshire Park, Mackenzie Terrace and Cherry Point including the following streets: West one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.50 feet north of the north property line of the alley south of Bates Street to its intersection with a line 2.50 feet north of the north property line of the alley north of Colgate Street, known and designated as a part of New Subdivisio Unit Number 758. East one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet north of the north property line of East Colgate Street to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet north of the north property line of the alley north of East Colgate Street, known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1018. Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet north of the north property line of Cornell Street to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet north of the north property 'line of the alley south of East Cornell Street, known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1086. Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 18.00 feet north of the north property line of East Cornell Street (West Side) to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet north of the north property line of the alley south of East Cornell Street, known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1087. Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet north of the north property line of East Duke Street (West side) to its intersection with a line 237.41 feet south of the south property line of East Duke Street (West side) West side concrete only, known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1205. Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 237.41. feet south of the south property line of East Duke Street (West side) to its intersection with a line 18.00 feet north of the north property line of East Cornell Street (West side), known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1206. East Cornell Street from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet west of the west property line of Walnut Avenue to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet west of the west property line of Zenith Avenue (north side concrete only), known and designated as a part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1207. Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet north of the north property line of East Cornell Street to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet north of the north property line of the alley north of East Cornell Street, known and designated as New subdivision Unit Number 1212. " I i i AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, -an said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost and to release escrow money. j II.
