RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DIPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS O STREETS AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WEEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Alford Terrace Addition, made arrangements
with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance
prior to the recording, of the subdivision plat of Alford Terrace Addition
including the following streets:
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 14.00 feet North of the North
Property Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 21.00 feet North
of the North Property Line of 12th Street (West Side), known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 1099.
12th Street from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet East of the East
Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West
of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue (South Side) , known and designated a
New Subdivision Unit Number 1100.
13th Street from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet East of the East
Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West
of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivi ii
Unit Number 1101.
14th Street from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet Bast of the East
Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West
of the West Property Line of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1102,
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South' of 9th Street to its intersection with a line
3.00 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 12th Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1103,
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 12th Street to its intersection with a
line 3.00 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 13th
Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1104.
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 13th Street to its intersection with a line
3.00 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 14th .Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1105.
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 21.00 feet North of the North
Property Line of 12th Street (West Side) to its intersection with the North
Property Line of llth Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1106.
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with the North Property Line of llth Street
to its intersection with a line 2.50 feet South ;of the South Property Line of
the alley South of 9th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1107.

AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements -have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF UMBOCR, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the' same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the city9s portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Hodges and Tierney, paving contractors, under their contract
with the subdividers of Alford Terrace Addition and find the
improvements on 12th, 13th and 14th Streets and Bangor,
Chicago Avenues as listed on the f,inal 'estimate sheet to have
been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications
and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets
and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount
shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due
them by the City of Lubbock.
