Little - Crump Five Acres Addition - 06_28_1962 r 62 RESOLUTION i r. -- -- — WHEREAS, the City Commission found by virtue of Ordinance No. 2166 that portions of alleys be abandoned, vacated and closed and were no longer needed for alley purposes; and, I� ! WHEREAS, the owner of the strips of land have requested that the City execute to him a quit claim deed to said strips in order to clear up any confusion as to the title of said strips which now may exist in the deed records; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that it is necessary and expedient and in the public interest that said quit claim deed be executed; NOW THEREFORE I! BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: I€ SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor be and is hereby authorized and directed for I { and on behalf of the City of Lubbock to execute and deliver to E. R. Little for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS a quit claim ! deed to a parcel of land described as follows, to-wit: Being the North-South alley and the East forty (40) feet of the East- West alley of the E. R. Little Subdivision of Lot 2, Block 25, Crump Five Acres Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, 'j more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, E. R. Little Sub- division of Tract 2, Block 25, Crump 5 Acre Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE South to the Southwest corner of Lot 11; THENCE West to the Southeast corner of Lot 25; i THENCE North along the East line of Lot 25; { THENCE North 450 West 21. 21 feet to a point; THENCE West 25 feet to a point; THENCE North 15 feet to a point; THENCE East 25 feet to a point; THENCE North 450 East 21. 21 feet to a point; THENCE North along the East line of Lot 12 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 12; i THENCE East 15 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
