The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work within ten days after the date written not -ice -to do so shall have been given to him and to substantially complete same within the time specified in the contract documents. The OWNER agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in current funds for the perfor- mance of -the -contract in.accordance with the proposal submitted therefor, subject to additions and deductions, as provided in the contract documents and to make payment on account thereof as provided therein. SPECIFICATIONS FOR: CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICAL WIRING FOR TRAINING STATION GENERAL: To provide for all labor and materials required for entrance wiring, control boxes and rough in wiring for 80 foot -by 80 foot addition to training building.. Also to be provided by contractor are all permits, inspection costs, breaker boxes, and utility outlets and switches needed which will be installed by contractor. NOTE: NOT -to -be included is lighting fixtures which will be purchased by seperate bid (See.Attachments).. Contractor WILL NOT be required to install lighting fixtures. Also NOT to be included is light switch covers or utility outlet.covers which will be purchased and installed by other arrangements. Work will -begin within ten_(10) days of-acceptance.of bid -and be -completed within -(20) days from starting date. This -is -an "all or none" bid and bidder should quote one -bid. Sub -item breakdown is -to-clarify various areas included in bid. Appropriate size copper wiring shall be used throughout. A. All material -and labor shall be provided for 110 volt lighting circuits for 80' x 80' structure. The only exceptions to this provision is light switch covers and lights which WILL NOT be provided by contractor. All materials and work shall meet all State and City standards and codes. All light switches -shall -be located 416" above floor there will be: -- 22 Single Pole switches. -to -'be installed .by-contractor,-GE_5901. .o a.ApP�orf✓ 6Q��c 12.Three way -switches -to be i-nstallea by.contractor, GE--5903-2. ` 15 Four way switches to be installed by contractor; GE 5904-2. ` 3 Dimmer switches to be installed by contractor (1-800W, 2-1,500W). 110 volt lighting circuits to be provided for the following: - See Schedule attached. The only exception to this provi- sion is outlet covers which WILL NOT be provided by contractor. All materials and work shall meet all State and City standards and codes. There shall be no more than five convenience outlets per circuit. 110 Volt convenience outlet circuits shall include the following: 53 Inside.double convenience outlets to be located per attached diagram 30" above floor, except in kitchen area outlets will be located at conventional heights. All materials and labor shall be provided for electrical rough -in for the following mechanical equipment, Note that the equipment itself will be provided for under seperate contract. One - Five Ton heat and A/C unit located near north side of structure. (Compressor to sit north side of building). Heater Fan 110 V, Compressor 220V, 3 phase. One 100,000 BTU heating unit in apparatus room. Heater Fan 110V. One - Two -Ton heat and A/C unit located in central mechanical room. (Compressor to sit south side of building)_ Heater Fan 110V, Compressor 220V, 1 phase. Two - Five -Ton heat and A/C units located in central mechanical room (Both compressors to sit south side of building). Heater Fan 110V, Compressor 220V, 3 phase. 220V Hose dryer located in apparatus room storage room, single phase. Four 110 volt vent fans, one for kitchen vent and one each for three bathrooms_ Seperate switches for all vent fans. 110 Volt circuit for apparatus room door. A 100 amp circuit shall also be run to existing entrance box in old., building. One - Two -Ton A/C compressor which will be used for equipment in old building. This compressor will be located on south side of new building close to location of other compressors_ 220V, 1 phase. D. All materials and labor shall be provided for installation of 400 amp, 3-phase underground services to building with one exception. Owner will open ditch and re-cover. Tie-in will be at pedestal located 130' to 150' North-West of building. Entrance Box, A11 breaker switches and panel boxes will be furnished and installed by contractor.
