RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, that portion of the streets hereinafter described, has been
abandoned, vacated and closed and is no longer necessary for street purposes
as recited in Ordinance No. 3643; and,
WHEREAS, the ownersof said strip of land have requested that the City
execute to them a quit claim deed to said strips in order to clear up any con-
fusion as to title of said strip which now may exist in the deed records; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission found it necessary ano expedient and in the
public interest that a quit claim deed be executed; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized and directed
for and an behalf of the City of Lubbock to execute and deliver to C. L. Galbreath,
for and in consideration of One Thousand Ninety-five and No 100 1095.00 ,
the attached quit claim deed, conveying ail its rig kit, title and interest in and to
that certain tract or parcel of land out of Section Three Block "A", Lubbock
County, Texas, lying in the City of Lubbock, State of Texas, and more particular
described as follows, to-wit:
A portion of an abandoned street in Block 3, Gordon Bozeman Addition
to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, more fully described
by metes and bounds as follows:

BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 10, Block 3, Gordonu
Bozeman Addition;
THENCE South 99.75 feet to a point in the Northeasterly right of way
line of Loop 289;
THENCE North 400421 West a distance of 76. 6 feet to a point;
THENCE North 41. 05 feet to a point, which is the Northeast corner
of Lot 8, Block 4, Gordon Bozeman Addition;

THENCE West 32. 83 feet to a point;
THENCE Southwesterly along alley line 2. 10 feet to a point in right
of way line of Loop 289;
THENCE North 400421 West a distance of 10. 78 feet toa point of curve;
THENCE Northwesterly on a curve to the right having a radius of 125
feet a distance of 4. 22 feet to a point in Lot 1, Block 4, Gordon Bozeman
Addition;
THENCE Northeasterly along the South side of said Lot line a distance
of S.29 feet to a point;
THENCE Northwesterly along said Lot 1, Block 4, a distance of 13. 7
^, feet to a point in the right of way line of Loop 289;
THENCE East a distance of 135. 1 feet to a point;

THENCE Southerly on a curve to the left having a radius of 50 feet
a distance of 26. 18 feet to a point, said point being in the North line
of Lot 10, Block 3, said Gordon Bozeman Addition;
- THENCE West along the North Lot lines of said Lot 10, Block 3, a
distance of 43.40 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 2. However, that it is intended to exclude the five foot utility and
drainage easement executed of even date herewith 135. 1 feet along the North line
fof the hereinabove described property from said quit claim deed.
I SECTION 3. THAT the City Secretary-Treasurer is hereby authorized and
directed to attest the signature of the Mayor to said quit claim deed affixing the
seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
