X11 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 111?ROVr TENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS THE City of Lubbock passed a resolution on July 27th, 1961 auth
orizing the construction of street improvements by Hodges and Tierney on a
portion of the following street:
Avenue W from its intersection with a line 15 feet south of the South Property
Line of 51st Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet Nort'; of the
North Property Line of the alley south of 52nd Street known and designated as
Unit 2064.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the above-
mentioned street have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portion of the abovementioned street
be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's share and release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall tale effect and be in force after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 26th DAY OF OCTOBER 1961.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Hodges and
Tierney, paving contractor, as authorized by a resolution passed on July
27th, 1961 and find the improvements on Avenue W as listed on the final
estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and
specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets
and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on
the attached consolidated fianl estimate sheet as due them by the City of
Lubbock.
