RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF ALLEYS, STREETS, AND/OR
F AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS the Cityof Lubbock heretofore passed varoius street improvement
ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Kerr Paving Co.,
Inc. G.W.O. 10285 for the making and construction of street andlor alleys
improvements on portions of num" brous alleys: streets and/or avenues in said
City including among others the following:
Weber Drive from its intersection with the north line of the Cul-de-sac
north of 25th Street to its intersection with a line 18 feet south of the
south property line of east 25th Street known and designated as Sub-Unit
number 1 of Unit number 2059.
Weber Drive from its intersection with a line 18 feet south of the south
property line of east 25th Street to its intersection with a line 18 feet
south of the south property line of East 26th Street known and designated
as Sub-Unit number 2, of Unit number 2059.
Weber Drive from its intersection with a line 18 feet south of the south
property line of east 26th Street to its intersection with a line 18
feet/'south of the south property line of Oak Avenue known and designated
as gub-Unit 3 of Unit Number 2059.
Weber Drive from its intersection with a line 18 feet south of the south
property line of Oak Avenue to its intersection with a line 18 feet south
of the south property line of east 27th Street known and designated as
SubQunit number 4 of Unit number 2059.
Weber Drive from its intersection with a line 18 feet south of the south
property line of east 27th Street to its intersection with a line 18
feet south of the south property line of east 28th Street,, known and
designated as Sub-Unit number 5 of Unit number 2059. P

number 10 of Unit number 2059.
East 28th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet east of the east
property line of Weber Drive to ist intersection with a line 118.7 feet
east of the east property line of Weber Drive known and designated as Sub-
Unit number 11 of Unit umber 2059.
The South 112 of 50th Street from its intersection with the west property
line of College Avenue to its intersection with a line 156.5 east of the
east property line of Avenue W known and dedignated as Sub-Unit number
1-S of Unit number 1911.
The Cul-de-sac on 25th Street immediately west of Avenue Q known and
designated as Unit number 2060.
The Storm Sewer ditch repair on east 37th Street from its intersection
with a line 40 feet west of the West property line of Elm Avenue to its
intersection with the west property line of Gloire Avenue.known asd desig-
nated as Sub-Unit number 1 of Unit number 2057.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the
abovementioned alleys„ streets andlor avenues, have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract
G.W.O. 10285.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXASi
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
alleys$ streets, and/or avenues by and the same are hereby accepted$ and
the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct payment of the
city%s portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements consturcted by Kerr Paving
Company Inc., paving contractor, under their contract dated June 8, 1961, des-
ignated as G.W.O. 10,285 and find the improvements on Weber Drive, E. 25th St.
E. 26th Street, E. 27th S treet, .E. 28th Street, 25th Street, 50th Street, 37th
Street, and Oak Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been com-
pleted in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to
the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate
sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
