RESOLUTION
i, RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDENCE OF
{ ASSESSIIENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve-
ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Kerr Paving
Company G.W.O. 2660, for the making and construction of street improvements on
portions of numerous streets and/or avenues in said City including among others
the following:
East One-half of Redbud Avenue from its intersection with a line 6 feet North
of the North Property Line of East 13th Street (East leg) to its intersection
with a line 15 feet south of the North Property Line of East 14th Street known
and designated as Sub-Unit Number 5 of Unit Number 2046.
Fast 13th Street from its intersection with a line 20 feet West of the East
Property Line of Quirt Avenue to its intersection with a line 8 feet West
f the West Property Line of Redbud Avenue (North leg) known and designated
s Sub-Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2046.
Pine Avenue from its intersection with a line 12 feet North of the South
roperty Line of East 13th Street to its intersection with a line 5 feet North
f the South Property Line of East Broadway known and designated as Sub-Unit
Lumber 9 of Unit Number 2046.
ast 9th Street from its intersection with a line 222 feet West of the West

ty Line of: Wolffarth Road (West Side) to its intersection with a line 9 feet

Avenue P from its intersection with a line 9 feet South of the South Property
Line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 68th Street known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 12 of

66th Street from its intersection with a line 11.5 feet East of the East Pro-
perty Line of Avenue P (North side) to its intersection with a line 13 feet
West of the West Property Line of Avenue N (North side) known and designated
as Sub-Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 2050.
66th Street from its intersection with a line 13 feet West of the West Property
Line of Avenue N (North side) to its intersection with a line 13 feet East of
the East Property Line of Avenue L (North side) known and designated as Sub-
Unit Number 2 of Unit Number 2050.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon tic said portions of the above-
mentioned alleys, streets have been inspected and found to have been con-
structed in accordance with terms of said contract (G.W.O. 2660).
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEAS:
I:
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets,
and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted, and the City Engineer
be and he is hereby authorized to direct payment of the Cityts portion of the
cost.
II.
That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed
to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied
against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the streets
and/or avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accor-
dance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings
with reference to said improvementsand assessments where such assessments were
levied.
III.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
