RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS ANdi/OR AVENUES
> AS LISTED BELOW:
a.� WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
G? Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Broadmoor Addition, made arrangements with
Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance
prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Broadmoor Addition in-
cluding the following streets:
West one-half of Knoxville Avenue from tts intersection with a line 10 feet
South of the North property line of 59th Street to its intersection with a
line 13 feet south of the South property line of 60th Street known and desig-
nated as New Subdivision, Unit Number 655.
West one-half of Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with a line 13 feet
South of the South Property line of 60th Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley south of 60th St.
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 801.
East one-half of Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with a line 10 feet
South of the North Property Line of 59hh Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet south of the South Property Line of the alley South of 59th St.
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 966.
East one-half of Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South
f the South Property Line of the alley South of 59th Street to its intersec-
tion with a line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South
f 60th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 970.
0th Street fron its intersection with a line l8feet East of the East Property
ine of Knoxville Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the
lest Property Line of Indiana Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision
nit Number 971.
Vest 36 feet of Indiana Avenue from its intersection with a line 13 feet South
f the South Property Line of 60th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet
forth of the North Property Line of the alley South of 60th Street known and
esignated as New Subdivision Number 972-A.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
entioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
nd said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
o have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in ac-
ordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 13310
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
e and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
ereby authorized to direct the payment of the City+s portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen;
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by •
Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, under his contract with
the subdividers of Broa.dmoor Addition and find the improvements on
Knoxville Avenue from 59th to alley South of 60th Street,
60th Street_ from Indiana Avenue to Knoxville Avenue, West 36 Feet
of Indiana Avenue from 60th Street to alley South of 60th Street
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
