A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM ' }fit DEED TO THE FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, A COR PORATION FOR THAT PORTION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY WHICH IS ADJACENT TO AND ABUTTS LOTS 6, 7, 14 AND 15, BLOCK 144 ORIGINAL TOWN, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS, HERETOFORE ABANDONED AND FULLY DESCRIBED IN THIS RESOLUTION. I WHEREAS, that portion of the North-South Alley as herein described, has been abandoned as an alley and any other public use; and, WHEREAS, that First Presbyterian Church of Lubbock, Texas, a corporatio is now entitled to a quit claim deed from the City of Lubbock, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE: I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to First.Presbyterian Church of Lubbock, Texas, a corporation, quit claiming I property situated in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and fully i described by metes and bounds as follows: A portion of the North-South alley through Block 144, Original Town. More fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 7 of said Block 144, Original Town, the Southwest corner of the parcel to be ' abandoned; THENCE North along the East end of Lots 7 and 6 a distance of 52 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 6 of said Block 144, Original Town, the Northwest corner of tract of land to be abandoned; i THENCE East a distance of 2.0 feet to a point, said point being the Northwest'corner of Lot 15 of said Block 14¢, Original Town, the Northeast corner of the tract to be abandoned; I , THENCE South along the West ends of Lots 15 and 14 a distance of 52 feet to a point, said point being the Southwest corner of Lot 14 of said Block 144, Original Town; THENCE West 20 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
