WHEREASs, the City Commission has determined that it is to the best in- terests!of the City of Lubbock# Texas,, its inhabitants# and the general public to conv y to The State of Texas the following 9. 558 acres of land situated in IJubboc County*, Texas: 9. 558 acres of land;, being all of the following described tract of 9. 739 acres EXCEPT however 0. 181 acres thereof included in the right of way of two (2) Public Roads,, one (1) approximately 26 feet in width, the center- line of which intersects the Southwesterly right of way line of U. S. High- way 84 at approximately 2097. 9 feet Easterly from the Northwest corner of Section 17e. Block D-50 E. L. & R. R. R. R. Co. Survey,,, the other Approximately 30 'feet in width„ the centerline of which intersects the South- westerly right of way line of U. S. Highway 84 at approximately 2042. 7 feet hortherly from the Southeast corner of said Section 17.
