r / RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisionscaef
' City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Greenlawn Addition Lots 202-238, made
arrangements with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improve-
ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions
of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Green-
lawn Addition Lots 202-238 including the following streets:
Ek of Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the
South Property Line of the alley South of 31st Street to its intersection
with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 32nd Street, known
and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 432.
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley South of 31st Street to its intersection with a
line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 32nd Street
known and designated as New 'Subdivision Unit Number 981.
32nd Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the West Propert
Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Bangor
Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 982.
Belmont Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 32nd Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South of
the South_Property Line of the alley South of 32nd Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 983.
West k of Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 0.85 feet South of
the South Property Line of the alley North of 32nd Street (East Leg) to its
intersection with a line 11.51 feet North of the North Property line of 32nd
Street (East Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 9484
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City;s portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Hodges and Tierney, paving contractor, under their contract with
the subdividers of Greenlawn Addition and find the improvements
on Bangor Avenue, Chicago Avenue, 32nd Street and Belmont Avenue
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consoli-
dated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
