RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS 014 PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: _
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed a resolution on May 25, 1961
authorizing the construction of street improvements by Kerr Paving Company on
portions of the following streets:
East 17th Street from its intersection with a line 40 feet West of the East
Property Line of Guava Avenue to its intersection with a line 9 feet East of
the West Property Line of Ironwood Avenue, known and designated as Sub-Unit
Number 2 of Unit Number 2035.
East 18th Street from its intersection with a line 13 feet East of the East
Property Line of Holly Avenue (South Leg) to its intersection with a line
25 feet East of the West Property Line of Ironwood Avenue, known and designated
as Sub-Unit Number 3 of Unit Number 2035.
Holly Avenue from its intersection4with a line 18 feet South of the South
Property Line of East 16th Street to its intersection with a line 18 feet
North of the North Property Line of East 17th Street, known and designated as
Sub-Unit Number 5 of Unit Number 2035.
Holly Avenue from its intersection with a line 18 feet South of the Soot h
Property Line of East 17th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet
South of the North Property Line of East 19th Street, known and designated
as Sub-Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2035.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned streets_ have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, as authorized by a
resolution passed on May 25, 1961, and find the improvements on
E. 17th Street, E. 18th Street and Holly Avenue as listed on the
final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the
improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment
to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
