HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 062261B - Paving Improvements - Pioneer Pavers - GWO 10,199 - 06_22_1961 RESOLUTION Y RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MPROVEEENTS ON PORTIONS OF ALLEYS, STREETS, AND/ OR AVENUES AS_LISTED BELOW AND ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDEN OF ASSESSMENTS LEVIED. WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various street improve- ment ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. (G.W.O. 10,199) for the making and construction of street and/or alley improvements on portions of numerous alleys, streets and/or avenues in said City including among others the following: Avenue H from its intersection with a line 7 feet North of the North Property Line of 40th Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 9 feet South of the North Property Line of_43rd Street (East Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 3 of Unit Number 1996. ,Avenue H from its intersection with a line 9 feet South of the North Property Line of 43rd Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 46th Street (West Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 4 of Unit Number 1996. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 46th Street (West Leg) to its intersection with a line 18 feet North of the North Property Line of 48th Street (East Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 5 of Unit Number 1996. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 18 feet North of the North Property Line of 48th Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 70 feet North of the center line of 50th Street (West Side) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 1996. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 10 feet South of the South Property Line of 50th Street to its intersection with a line 13 feet South of the South Property Line of 52nd Street (East Leg) , known and designated gs Sub-Unit Number 1 of Unit Number 1999. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 13 feet South of the South Property Line of 52nd Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South Property Line of 54th Street (East Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 2 of Unit Number 1999. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South Property Line of 54th Street (East Leg) to its intersection with a line 15.8 feet North of the North Property Line of 57th Street (West Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 3 of Unit Number 1999. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 15.8 feet North of the North Propert Line of 57th Street (West Leg) to its intersection with a line 16 feet South of the South Property Line of 58th Street (West Leg) , known and designated as Sub-Unit Number 4 of Unit Number 1999. Avenue H from its intersection with a line 20.4 feet South of the South Proper- ty Line of 58th Street (East Leg) to its intersection with the Traffic Circle, known and designated as Sub-Unit .Number 5 of Unit Number 1999. F„ r% V� AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above- mentioned alleys, streets and/or avenues, have been inspected and found -to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract G.W.O. 10,199. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned alleys, streets, and/or avenues be and the same are hereby accepted, and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct payment of the Cityts portion of the cost. II. That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portions of the alleys, streets and/or avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in Accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments where such Assessments were levied.
