RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING MPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Hamman Heights, made arrangements with
Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain
streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance
prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Hamman Heights including
the following streets:
47th Street from its intersection with a line 11 feet West of the East Propert
Line of Utica Avenue to its intersection with a line 239 feet West of the West
Property Line of Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 953.
Toledo Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North
Property Line of 48th Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet South of
the South Property Line of 47th Street, known and designated as New Subdivisior
Unit Number 954.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engine ,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
_ to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
` accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityls portion of the cost and
to release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8TH DAY OF JUNE, 1961.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, under their contract with
the subdividers of Haman Heights and find the improvements on
47th Street and Toledo Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet
to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications
and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the
attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of
Lubbock.
