RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOWt
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Alford Terrace Addition, made arrange-
ments with Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on
certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Alford Terrace
Addition including the following streetst
Aberdeen Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North
Property Line of 14th Street to its intersection with a line 14 feet South of
the South Property Line of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 943.
14th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property
Line of Bangor Avenue to its intersection with the Cul-de-Sac (East) known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 944.
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with aline 2.5 feet North of' the alley
South of 14th Street to its intersection with a line 36.62 feet South of the
South Property Line of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 945.
13th Street from its intersection with a line 11 feet East of the West Property
Line of Slide Raod to its intersection with a line 15 feet Nest of the West
Property Line of Bangor Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 946.
Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 14 feet North of the North
Property Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of
the alley North of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 947.
Slide Road (Concrete Only) from its .intersection with a line 3 feet North of
the alley North of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 14 feet North
of the alley South of 13th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 948.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accord-
ance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE$ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCKi TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the sauce are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8th DAY OF JUNE 1961.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Paving Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the sud-
dividers of Alford Terrace Addition and find the improvements on Aber-
deen Avenue, 14th Street, Bangor Avenue, 13th Street, Albany Avenue and
curb and gutter on Slide Road as listed on the final estimate sheet to
have been completed in acccziance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the
attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of
Lubbock.
